Geoffrey R. Biehn, CPA, CFP®
FOUNDER & PRESIDENT
In 2004, Geoff chose to leave corporate finance to start a financial practice that would serve people well by taking into consideration the full financial picture of each client, not simply investing as most perceive it. Nearly two decades later, Geoff’s instinctual beliefs on how to serve people well have become the hallmark of the Trinity story, and the driver of the firm’s success.
Prior to forming Trinity Financial Advisors, Geoff amassed the corporate and financial experience that few advisors possess, giving him keen insight on complex business, financial, and tax issues that matter to family businesses and investors alike:
Bank One — Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for a 13,000 employee, $2.5 billion division, managing a staff of more than 120 finance professionals, and reporting directly to Corporate Chief Financial Officer; stayed on through merger with JPMorgan Chase and declined increased role in NYC.
MCI-Verizon — Divisional Chief Financial Officer responsible for all financial operations within the $3.5 billion Americas Internet (UUNET) Region, with finance staff located in Canada, the United States and Latin America.
CompuServe — Corporate Treasurer for $1 billion publicly traded corporation responsible for all financial planning, banking, debt financing, cash and treasury management, M&A transactions, and assisted with investor relations. Served as Director of International Finance during CompuServe’s Initial Public Offering (IPO) and coordinated financial planning, tax and treasury functions with European operations.
KPMG — Led financial statement audits with companies in the Manufacturing, Technology, and Financial Services industries from Cincinnati office.
Geoff and his wife, Tami, have two college-aged children and reside in Worthington Hills.
